I am a passionate developmental editor who uses an empathetic character-centered approach to bring your story’s world and message to life. I know how to showcase your unique author voice in order to highlight your story’s potential to cultivate a dedicated readership that will last for years to come.
I specialize in character-centered developmental edits of YA and adult fantasy, sci-fi, and horror novels, including the supernatural and paranormal, fairytale retellings, fantasy (all sub-genres), and space opera. I also have a deep love for contemporary novels (both YA and adult) which focus on mental health and/or struggles of marginalized groups, specifically the LGBTQIA+ community.
Note: If this will be your first round of edits, I would recommend booking a manuscript consult first to find any big-picture story or character issues. This will save you money and time if your story is not ready for a larger edit.

Manuscript Consult
You’ve been hard at work on your manuscript, but you’ve hit a creative roadblock. This service will provide helpful insight into your story outline and first chapter in order to identify big-picture issues with plot, character, and motivation. I will encourage you along the way with a 30-minute video call and several pages of notes.
Investment: $150 USD
Full Manuscript Read-Through / Assessment
You’ve finished the first draft of your manuscript. I’m so proud of you! Now it’s time to let someone else dive in and give feedback. In this service I will read through your manuscript in full and provide several pages of notes on your world-building, character development, and plot strengths. This will include comments in the margins of your manuscript, as well as a page of notes.

Dynamic Villain Essentials Workshop
This exciting workshop dives deep into the characteristics of one of my favorite characters: the villain. These characters are multi-faceted and this service will offer insight into how to create an impactful character that may be just a little (or a lot) evil. As there are so many types of villains, this workshop changes with the seasons.
